How To Hit A Driver Straight Side View
Do you want to hit a straight tee shot with your driver?
Well, I’m going to show you exactly what you need to be for so that those balls go nice and straight.
Today we are going to be working on a continuation of the video I shared with you just recently about how to hit your tee shots nice and straight.
As you know it was all about keeping the club face nice and straight when making contact with the ball and I actually showed you from the back view. What I’ll do today is to show you from the side view because when you are nice and close you can actually see what is going on with the club face. I want to show you that.
You want to make sure that the club face is nice and straight when you make contact with the ball. I spoke to you about that last week, in the previous video which was about keeping the club face nice and straight so you can get the ball to react. The ball is just bouncing off the club face. It’s really important to keep the club face straight.
When you get set to actually play the shot, make sure that when the club is coming though is stays nice and straight so that the ball rebounds off the club face and then you get it nice and straight. If you come through and you start flicking around with your hands you can see how the club face is starting to change. If you were to do it the moment that you actually make contact with the ball the shot will not work.
We need to make sure we are getting the ball to go straight, straight being the operative word.
I want you to watch what I am doing here, a nice little half swing and when I come through I am going to keep the club face nice and straight so that you can see it.
Get set with the ball, swing back and then make contact. What you would have seen is that when I came through I kept my club face nice and straight through the ball as long as possible.
I’ll show you once more. I want you to see that the club face is nice and straight. You would have seen when I came through that I was holding my position as long as possible. What happens when you go to play a shot, with your tee shot, if you lift your arms you are not giving the ball enough chance to stay on the club face so the ball reacts off the face so it can go straight.
I want you to look out for that. It’s something you can go and work on.
I hope you got a lot of value out of today’s video. I’d love it if you could leave a comment and share with me what you like best about what you saw today and if you have friends that you know would benefit from these videos please share them.
We want to build the lady golf teacher community as much as we possibly can, that would be awesome.
Have an absolutely awesome day, take care, and remember; Tee it high and Let it fly.
