How could tracking your emotions help you? Well, I thought this was a great idea that I heard in a podcast show quite some time ago, but I never got around to doing it but I always wanted to do it.

Just before I headed overseas this year for a golf tour and a trip around the south of england with my husband, I just felt it was time to track my emotions and see if there were any patterns coming up. I wanted to know how I responded to situations that came up and how I reacted to other situations.

I recorded my emotions for the next 20 days to see what went on. Now I did this at the time I was writing my book and I wanted to get it done before I was leaving to travel to Spain and Portugal for the golf tour.

After I returned from the trip I had a clear head and revisited the information that I had recorded. It was very interesting what came up.

There was absolutely no judgement of how I responded to situations - I just looked at them in how I could improve myself to grow and learn.
